The local police resisted the efforts of the many parents who had congregated at the site to encourage them to do their job and take out the shooter. Despite being fully equipped with assault weapons (we have photographs to prove it) and holding themselves out as a swat team, the local police declined to storm the building, waiting for federal border patrol agents to arrive from the Mexican border some fifty miles away.Ħ. Despite hearing a substantial amount of internal gunfire after their first retreat, the police waited an hour to storm the building, completely contrary to the Shooter Protocol adopted by law enforcement all over the country after the Colombine shootings in the late 1990s.ĥ. What is clear is that they immediately retreated under fire from the shooter.Ĥ. Not clear if they actually entered school or only approached it. Local law enforcement arrived four minutes later. Despite a doubling of the school district's security budget in the last year and the highly touted efforts of the State of Texas to fortify their schools after the 2018 Santa Fe school shooting, the shooter simply walked through a side door of the school-unlocked, unchallenged.ģ. There was no security guard stationed at the school to heroically exchange fire with the shooter. mostly from parents and children and "new" government representatives who have replaced those who gave misinformation in the first few hours after the massacre:ġ. Our wildlife is HUNGRY, and they will kill your pets for food - no question. Keep your small pets indoors if possible people. They almost got away with it, except one coyote kept dropping the poor chihuahua from its jaws. I looked out the window, and all three of them were running up the hill my house is on, as it appears they were chased away by whomever this man was, sans little chihuahua. I have no idea how the little dog got out, but I was gonna go save it, and then I heard a male’s voice scream, and chase the coyotes away.
The poor thing needed help, or it was a goner.
I looked out the window again, and I saw the little pup attempting to run, but it was surrounded, with one coyote attempting to drag it away. I was attempting to put my clothes on as soon as possible, as I quickly gathered they were after a smaller dog, hence the yipps. I had encountered them before when horseback riding. The barking was distinctly different than other barking, and I immediately remembered where this distinctive barking was coming from: Coyotes! I woke up to go pee, and when I walked back into my bedroom, I could hear this very distinctive barking that had some yipping sounds as well. It bummed me out to see she’s been relegated to playing someone’s mom on CW trash like “Riverdale.” by Anonymous I Googled her and she still looks fantastic and youthful at 51.
So, why wasn’t she? I don’t recall seeing Mädchen in anything else was she pushed as a movie star in the 90s, or…? Did she just have bad representation? It’s rare for someone virtually unknown to me to make such an impression. She could have been Hollywood’s brunette answer to, say, Sharon Stone. Plus, she was superlative in the part and was very convincing as this calculating, cold Hitchcockian femme fatale. In one courtroom scene, she has her hair slicked back into a low bun and could almost pass for Linda Evangelista. I vaguely recalled her from “Twin Peaks,” but she looked absolutely ravishing in this film, to the point where I couldn’t even focus on the also very fetching Spader. Why wasn’t she more successful? I just watched her in “Dream Lover,” costarring James Spader, and was awestruck by her beauty.
